June 2021 Email Marketing Calendar

Calendar planning for June? Our team has compiled a list of holidays and creative examples to help inspire promotions for your subscribers.

Global Running Day (June 2)

Global Running Day is a worldwide celebration of running that encourages everyone to get moving. Shore Magic and Pro Compression use Global Running Day to show how their products can help runners stay active and healthy.

National Best Friends Day (June 8)

June 8th celebrates National Best Friends Day, a day to honor that one special person you call your “best friend”. Gaiam uses a clever angle of “the perfect pair”, featuring products that would work well together. I’d Rather Be With My Dog uses the day as the perfect time to spoil your furry best friend!

Father’s Day (June 20)

Father’s Day is a busy time for marketers, we’re all looking to create an easy experience with helpful information for subscribers to find the right gift. Just like Mother’s Day, you can include a banner to give subscribers the option to opt out of receiving messages. This is a mindful way to promote the holiday, while showing sensitivity to customers whose dads have passed away or aren’t in their lives. Make sure to send far enough in advance so you have time to suppress the opt-outs from your subscriber list. E-gift card banners and gift guides allow shoppers to quickly and easily find the right gift.

First Day of Summer (June 20)

In addition to Father’s Day, June 20th gives us another fun promotional opportunity to celebrate the first day of summer. Adina’s Jewels made a summer guide that allows their customers to easily shop the trends for the season.

Pride Month (June)

Pride Month provides an opportunity to show support for the LGBTQ+ community. If you do decide to advertise, make sure to prioritize LGBTQ+ perspectives and voices. Seek out appropriate resources when developing your message to ensure you’re understanding your audience.
