They had a great Black Friday campaign which gave them great ROI. Previewing their campaign to their customers was a great reminder. Their emails were easy to digest and showed good content that would end up on a specific product page. Their call to action was at the top of the email which is helpful since typically Black Friday consumers want to get to the sale as soon as they can. Also, the scheduling of their emails was a smart way to send reminders.
More campaigns, smarter segmentation, and more emails overall helped Dr. Scholl’s step up their holiday game. Mailings during critical sale days alternated between wide-cast morning mailings and narrowly targeted afternoon reminders. The smart segmentation and cadence allowed Dr. Scholl’s to double orders and revenue while reducing opt-outs by a third, making this their best holiday season ever.
